Khabir respects your privacy. This policy describes what personal data we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Khabir (the "Service", "we", "us") operates khabirstocks.ai and distributes educational stock-market research via email and messaging platforms. If you have questions about this policy, contact privacy@khabirstocks.ai.

2. What we collect

• Email address — provided by you when you join the free list or subscribe to premium.
• Approximate location (country) — derived from your IP address by our infrastructure provider, used to understand audience distribution.
• IP address and user-agent string — stored only transiently for anti-abuse / rate-limiting purposes.
• Subscription and billing data (premium users only) — held by our payments processor (Stripe). We receive only the fact of an active subscription, not full card details.
• Usage data — we may collect aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics (page views, referrers) via Cloudflare Web Analytics; this does not use cookies and does not identify individuals.

We do not collect information about your personal finances, trading accounts, or investment portfolio.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

• To deliver the service you signed up for — sending you research emails. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (your signup).
• To process your subscription (premium only). Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
• To protect the service from abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
• To comply with applicable law where required. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

We share your data only with the third-party services strictly necessary to operate Khabir:

• Cloudflare — hosting, edge delivery, email routing, key-value storage. Acts as a data processor on our behalf.
• Email delivery provider (e.g. Beehiiv, MailerLite) — to send you the research digest.
• Stripe — premium subscription payments only.
• Telegram — only if you opt into Telegram delivery by interacting with our bot.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or anyone else. We do not share your data with data brokers.

5. How long we keep it

• Email address and subscription status: for as long as you remain subscribed, plus up to 12 months afterward for record-keeping.
• Payment records: for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years).
• Transient logs (IP, user-agent): deleted within 30 days.

If you unsubscribe and request deletion, we remove your records from our active systems within 30 days, subject to legal-retention exceptions.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and equivalent privacy laws you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold on you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal-retention exceptions.
• Restrict or object to the processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing and emailing us to confirm deletion.
• Complain to your national data-protection authority.

7. Cookies

Khabir uses a minimal number of cookies and local-storage entries:

• Theme preference — stored in local storage so the site remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. No personal data.
• Authentication cookie (premium users only, on the dashboard) — required to keep you logged in.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access-controlled cloud storage, and defense-in-depth practices. However, no internet-based service is 100% secure; you use Khabir at your own risk.

9. Children

Khabir is not directed at persons under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the service.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email where practical. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
